Computer Vision Engineer

What will you be doing?

We're looking for an experienced engineer to architect and build computer vision solutions with a mind towards research and production systems.

As our new colleague, you'll help drive our smartphone AI technology in medical imaging forward as part of a team of like-minded researchers and engineers with years of experience building solutions for health tech. You'll join the effort to develop state-of-the-art computer vision based features, where great software engineering and algorithmic understanding is crucial. Task review and quality assurance is part of our daily teamwork.

Are you our new colleague?

We’re on a journey to build new pathways for people with skin conditions to get access to specialist care when they need it most. You should therefore thrive with a great deal of freedom in an evolving environment.

As our new colleague, we imagine that you...

  • Hold an MSc in computer science or related discipline.
  • Have at least 3 years professional experience with computer vision and machine learning
  • Have experience working with C, C++, Python and OpenCV
  • Experienced in working with iOS/Android image capture
  • Have a disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance

You'll get a bonus of two of you have...

  • Experience working on data pipelines at scale
  • Worked with go-to-market computer vision or machine learning development and deployment
  • Amazon Web Services, Github, CircleCI
  • A PhD degree within computer science (or related discipline), preferably within topics of computer vision, machine learning, algorithms, or software engineering
  • Publications in relevant research areas

We don't expect you to tick all boxes so don't hold back if you see a place for you in the work we do.

Join us to make a difference - stay for the culture

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary and diverse workspace of more than 20 different nationalities where designers and developers work closely with doctors and data scientists (just to name a few).

We value a curious and creative mindset, which doesn’t only influence our way of working but has also fostered a strong social community.

Knowledge-sharing is caring, so we make sure to have guild meetings to explore which practices could be valuable for us to implement, and to delve into interesting topics and discussions. But the fun doesn’t end here. We also have themed Friday bars, “hygge coffees” to mingle across the organisation, weekly Counter-Strike, and an array of other activities organised by the colleagues themselves.

Other benefits include

  • Pension contribution and premium health insurance.
  • The opportunity to attend conferences and professional training.
  • Flexible working hours and holidays. 5 extra days/year after being 9 months with us.
  • Paid parental leave for moms and dads, so you spend valuable time with your loved ones.
  • Lunch served by our own in-house chef.
  • A variety of snacks and soft drinks available throughout the day when you’re feeling peckish.
  • Whatever device setup you need as productivity base - and you can of course use your phone and laptop privately.

If the position has piqued your interest, please send your CV and motivational letter, and potential GitHub profile or portfolio to jobs@omhu.com with the subject “Computer Vision Engineer”.

Deadline is 06. Dec. We’ll invite applicants in on a rolling basis. Please don't hesitate to contact Martin.
