Machine Learning Operations Engineer

What will you be doing?

We're looking for an experienced engineer to architect and build automation and data pipelines for efficient machine learning with a mind towards research and production systems.

As our new colleague, you'll help drive our smartphone AI technology in medical imaging forward as part of a team of like-minded research engineers with years of experience in building pipelines for machine learning and data science. You'll join the effort to develop a state-of-the-art machine learning pipeline, where great software engineering and algorithmic understanding is crucial. Task review and quality assurance is part of our daily teamwork.

As our new colleague, we imagine that you...

  • Have a strong foundation in operations
  • Hold an MSc in computer science or related discipline
  • Have at least 3 years professional experience with working on machine learning and data pipelines at scale
  • Have experience working with Python and Scala or other functional language
  • Have experience with Amazon Web Services, Github, CircleCI
  • Have a disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance and employing, continuous integration, automated testing, serverless infrastructure and agile

You'll get a bonus of two of you have...

  • Worked with go-to-market machine learning development and deployment
  • A PhD degree within computer science (or related discipline), preferably within topics of machine learning, algorithms, or software engineering
  • Publications in relevant research areas
